Although beginning life in 1913 as a luxury leather-goods company, it was in the 1970s, after the takeover of Miuccia Prada, that the brand really began to make big waves in the world of fashion.
Fast forward to the 1990s and Prada soon became a status symbol as well as one of the most influential fashion houses out there, and to this day, they continue to dictate high-street trends season after season.
